Frequent Asked Questions

I’ve never boarded before!

No worries! Some things to consider are how big is the facility? Will your dog be over stimulated or get any one on one attention? Are you meeting the person caring for your pet or do they have a large staff? If they don’t talk about your dog, did they even spend time with your dog? My biggest fear is my dog sitting, crying in a kennel all day. Read more to see if our facility is right for your dog.

How much kennel time will my dog have?

Dogs will be kenneled at night from 11pm to 6am and free to roam and play with a human by their side during the day. Occasionally dogs will be crated for no more than 2 hours while we run errands.

Will my dog have indoor/outdoor access?

Yes! We have a doggy door and your dog is able to pick inside or outside. We also walk dogs outside every 2 hours in case they don't know how to use a doggy door.

Where will my dog sleep?

Our kennels are located in a spare room in our home. Room is temperature controlled and kennels are cleaned with pet safe cleaners after every stay.

How many dogs will my dog be playing with?

No more than 7 other dogs.;' Feel free to ask who else is booked at the time of your dog’s stay.

How do you clean the facility?

We use germicidal cleaner, deodorizer and disinfectant specially formulated to safely clean animal areas such as kennels.

Who are the resident dogs?

Kirby the 30lb cairn terrier is the president of the welcome committee. He is 3 years old and has passed his therapy dog classes. Elvis is a 3 year old 70 lb Pittsky and welcomes dogs to the backyard with a play bow and a tail wag waiting for the moment they are comfortable enough to play. Rosco is a 7 lb Yorkie and is the yard duty.

How can you help my dog with high anxiety?

If your dog has high anxiety it’s best to do a trial night of boarding here before you book a long stay. We specialize in dogs with high anxiety and are able to pamper them and try to comfort them while you’re away.

What should I bring for dog boarding?

Please bring your dog’s food and favorite bed.

Can you accommodate dogs with special needs?

Yes! We are willing to work with you and your dog to make sure they are safe while you’re away.

My dog doesn’t like other dogs, is this a good fit?

Not a match. So sorry! We have an off leash environment and dogs will be co-mingling with supervision. Dogs must be dog-friendly to stay with us due to this social environment.

Can I take a tour?

Yes! Please call or text to schedule a meet and greet to see if we will be a good match for you and your dog.

A great match would be a dog that is fixed, up to date on vaccinations, current on flea treatments, and dog-friendly.
